About Riven

At Riven, we rapidly build and deploy software to help organisations solve their most pressing operational challenges. Since starting we've launched our first product, built up a solid customer base and been featured by the likes of BBC News and the Policing Minister. We're now looking for product engineers to join our team and help us scale.

Our first product, DocDefender, automatically identifies personal information in documents for redaction. Police forces across the country use DocDefender every single day to redact their documents, saving significant amounts of time and improving their security posture. We've made a lot of progress with DocDefender, but there's still so much left to build.

What you'll do

We're looking for product engineers who can help us scale our software across UK policing as well as new sectors. You'll work closely with our customers to understand their requirements and deploy new features to make sure they're getting the most out of our offerings. Development will involve working across our full stack, which has been designed to maximise development velocity.

As we're a small team, you'll also get stuck into whatever else needs doing to keep things moving, from onboarding new customers to reviewing management information to inform our product roadmap. It's a fast-paced environment where we're always being pushed out of our comfort zone and learning new things, but with the stability of a fully bootstrapped company with no investment.

About you

• >1 years' experience building and deploying production applications.
• Familiar with full-stack engineering and willing to learn new technologies as needed.
• Comfortable working directly with users to understand their needs and build solutions.
• Hold security clearance or able to be cleared (NPPV3 required, SC useful).
